Zurich appoints retail and partnerships MD

Zurich has appointed Mike Quinton as managing director of retail and partnerships.

He replaces Mark Searles, Zurich's UK chief marketing officer, who has overseen the retail business since the beginning of the year. Quinton, who will start work in the New Year, will take responsibility for broadening Zurich’s product and underwriting capacity distribution. He will report to Guy Munnoch, chief executive officer of UK general insurance at Zurich and Theo Bouts, chief executive officer of direct and partnership Europe.
