The government's guidance guarantee providers will not be properly staffed by April and will lack the right level of expertise to deliver the service, a pensions expert has warned.
Speaking to the BBC Radio 4's Money Box programme JLT trustee solutions director Margaret Snowdon (pictured) warned Citizens Advice had left it too late to ensure staff would have the right level of expertise. Citizens Advice, which was tasked with the delivery of the face to face element of the government's free at-retirement guidance in October, published job specs in early January.
