GAM unveils China fund

GAM has expanded its Star fund range after unveiling a new China fund.

The Star China Equity fund, headed by Michael Lai who is responsible for the firm’s range of Asian funds, invests in companies in China and Hong Kong using a mix of top down and bottom up investment styles. Although no sterling share class has been released so far, the fund has UK distributor status, and GAM revealed it will make new share classes available if funding requirements are met.
