I love my gadgets as much as the next busy person - I don't know where I would be without my Blackberry, its proved to be a real god send when I'm out on the road. But the pace of technological change is unrelenting.

The only thing that moves as quickly is the level of impatience that we show as consumers in a capitalist society. We must have goods and services and we most have them now - but yesterday is preferable. The wheels of the mortgage industry grind much too slowly for today’s consumer. From offer to completion the home buying process takes on average eight to 12 weeks. This is starting to sound a tad dated these days.
