Paul Smee, director general of the Association of IFAs is taking up a "strictly non-executive role" with administration support services firm Practiv.
Smee says there is no suggestion he is leaving his current position as a lobbyist for the industry for a bigger role at the privately held company, where he will be a non-executive director. Smee adds the position of Practiv as one providing admin support to IFAs means he sees his new role as an interesting challenge. Practiv is active in the UK, Australian and New Zealand. IFAonline
