Santander hires senior portfolio manager

Santander Asset Management has appointed Estrella Llorente as senior portfolio manager.

Llorente will run Abbey’s multi-manager portfolios and replaces John Bearman, chief investment officer, who has managed the funds since John Kelly left in May to join CCLA Investment Management. Llorente joined Santander Asset Management in Spain in 2002 and specialised in global markets and commodities. She worked at Analistas Financieros Internacionales (AFI), a research company, during the first half of 2002.
