Scottish Mutual International plans to launch into the Italian and Hong Kong market later this year ' with the first product being a with-profits bond. However, the deals are still subject to approval. Scottish Mutual International sees the Italian market as a natural expansion and its entry strategy will be similar to the one used for the German market. The first product for the Italian market will be a euro-denominated with-profits bond which will invest in Eurozone equities.
