UK stocks rose this morning paced by Royal Bank of Scotland Group. The benchmark FTSE 100 is currently up 20 points to 4,133.20. Royal Bank of Scotland gained 44p to £16.65 after Britain's second-largest lender deemed first-half profit would live up to analysts' forecasts. Barclays gained 3.75p to 443p after the bank received approval from Spain's stock market regulator for its 1.14bn euro bid for Banco Zaragozano SA, Spain's eighth-largest bank.
