New figures from the Association of Private Client and Investment Managers (APCIMS) and research group ComPeer show that retail investors returned strongly to the market during the last quarter of 2001. The APCIMS/ComPeer Private Client Activity Index shows that buyers outweighed sellers by a large margin during the final quarter of 2001, to the extent that execution only client became net buyers for the first time since 2000.
