UK stocks rise led by MMO2

UK stocks rose, led by MMO2 after the mobile-phone company said it will save 600 million euros ($528 million) during the next five years by cutting the number of its suppliers. The FTSE 100 Index added 58.5 points, or 1.1%, to 5259.9, extending its three-day gain to 2.4%. Two shares advanced for every one that declined in the FTSE All Share Index, which gained 24.91 points to 2552.77. MMO2 rose 3.5 pence to 57p, up 11% this week.
