The General Insurance and Standard Council has appointed Mary Rance as Secretary to the Committee which assesses whether the GISC is effective at establishing and enforcing the rules it designed to protect consumer interests. Rance will drive the Scrutiny Committee of the GISC - which operates autonomously of the GISC - as well as manage and commission research to assess GISC's effectiveness from a consumer perspective, under the leadership of the chair and committee.
