Zurich International Life has made its International Wealth Account product available in Singapore. The single-premium launch doubles ZIL's Singapore range, joining the Vista regular-premium product, which has been available since Zurich established its Singapore base in 2006.
Structured as a life assurance contract, the IWA offers investors a choice of over 300 funds, many of which have not been available in Singapore before. The range will be enhanced with around a dozen Jersey-based funds, subject to agreement with Singapore's regulator.
ZIL is targeting the mass affluent and high net worth sector with the product, which has a minimum investment of S$100,000 (about £35,000). Investors can hold up to 30 funds at a time, with up to 26 free switches per year. Nine different currencies are available within the fund range.
ZIL regional director for Asia, Carlos Sabugueiro, said: "The IWA will provide a new dimension in product choice for investors in Singapore due to its innovative design, married with the strong reputation for value and returns that ZIL products have come to deliver."
