Martin Currie has announced the launch on June 9 of a Sicav version of its North American fund, managed by Tom Walker.
The firm says the Luxembourg launch is in response to demand from investors outside the UK, who want to access the performance of Walker and co-manager David Forsyth, but who prefer the Sicav structure.
Speaking on the outlook for US stocks, Walker said: "Despite the current volatility and uncertain outlook, North America is a great market for stockpickers.
"There are companies continuing to perform well, and we believe we are well placed to identify them on behalf of investors."
