Royal & SunAlliance International Financial Services (R&SAIFS) has launched the Global Personal Portfolio and the Global Wealth Portfolio, domiciled in the Isle of Man, writes Joanne Frearson.
The Global Personal Portfolio products allow clients to appoint a discretionary fund manager, placing investment decisions in the hands of professional investment managers.
The Global Personal Portfolio allows the investor to create an entirely individual portfolio, with acceptable assets including almost any freely tradable investment instrument: stocks, bonds and other personal assets. The Global Personal Portfolio gives the clients access to virtually all of the world's stock markets.
The Global Wealth Portfolio is designed for the UK investor and allows investment selection from within an exhaustive selection of pooled assets.
Minimum premium for both is £250,000. Establishment charge is 1% on the first £4m of contributions, 0.5% on the next £4m of contributions and 0.25% on all premium in excess of £8m.
Simon Pack, general manager sales & marketing, says: 'At R&SAIFS we wanted to develop a portfolio specifically for those people who do not have the time to manage one personally.'
