Destini Financial Services has signed a joint venture deal with Legal Justice to provide UK Muslims with Shariah law-compliant mortgage and protection products.
Having previously assisted with the Miners’ Compensation Scheme, Legal Justice has already built up a reputation and trust within the Asian community and is now looking to deliver ‘Halal mortgages’ which remove the traditional concept of interest payment on a mortgage, says a statement from the two firms.
Destini says it will create the panel of lenders and protection providers while Legal Justice will market the products.
In addition, Destini will also extend its range of providers and products to IFAs wishing to use the service, in return for an introductory fee.
