Barclays Global Investors is to issue 14 exchange traded funds (ETFs) in the form of iShares on the London Stock Exchange. BGI, which has 14 existing iShare ETFs, and Nasdaq Europe are currently the only two providers of exchange traded funds on the London market. The extended BGI range will include a number of products linked to Asian indices, income orientated and property index linked products.
