Barclays Global Investors is to issue 14 exchange traded funds (ETFs) in the form of iShares on the London Stock Exchange.
BGI, which has 14 existing iShare ETFs, and Nasdaq Europe are currently the only two providers of exchange traded funds on the London market.
The extended BGI range will include a number of products linked to Asian indices, income orientated and property index linked products.
On 31 October, the iShares MSCI World, MSCI AC Far East ex-Japan, MSCI Taiwan and FTSE UK Dividend Plus will launch, followed by MSCI Eastern Europe, FTSE/EPRA European Property Index, DJ Euro STOXX Growth, Value and Select Dividend on 7 November.
The final iShares are the MSCI Brazil, MSCI Korea, MSCI Emerging Markets and the Inflation Linked Bond, which will launch on 21 November.
BGI is expected to launch a further 10 to 15 ETFs next year, though no decisions have yet been made as to what exposure they would offer.
