American Express Adviser Service (Amex) has announced the addition of four IFA firms to its wrap platform.
The groups added include Exeter-based Cathedral Financial Management, who provide financial services to clients in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, VWM Consulting, who are a Glasgow-based firm, IFA Professional Planning, a Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire group and also Investment Quorum, who are a City-based firm working with clients in London and throughout the South- East region.
Director of sales and marketing, Andrea Dean, said: "There are numerous ways that we add these groups to our platform. This could be through advertising, them calling us or us approaching them."
Adviser Service offers a multi-asset, multi-capability platform-based wrap account which advisers can use to improve efficiency and client relationships.
Director of VWM Consulting, Ken Welsh, said: "We joined the American Express wrap because we believe in its concept, we consulted a number of wrap advisers and we felt for the clients that we have American Express gives them peace of mind. Many of our clients probably have an American Express card and although they are not the cheapest, cost is not the most important thing if they provide a good service."
Dean said: "The success of our wrap platform is really down to the service. Firstly the technology employed works well and secondly the people in the office working on the wrap do an exceptional job."
