Deutsche Asset Management is expected to replace the manager of its UK Blue Chip fund Nigel Ridge after identifying a period of underperformance.
The new person in charge will be Michael Crawford, who currently manages some £1.5bn in institutional mandates.
The overall goals of the UK Blue Chip fund are unlikely to change, but it is expected that a review of the current portfolio will result in some changes to holdings.
Ridge is expected to remain with Deutsche.
