Norwich Union customers are now able to manage their money and assets on the internet with the launch of CGNU's online wealth management service.
The first phase of the service on norwichunion.com forms part of a total £250 million investment in wealth management by CGNU.
Due for launch later this year are a fund supermarket and share dealing service. A series of banking products will follow. All the developments are expected to be completed by the The site provides financial news and a comprehensive range of financial planning tools and calculators. The tools focus on savings and investments, planning for retirement, protecting wealth, home ownership and personal borrowing.
The wealth manager service allows customers to keep a complete record of all assets and borrowings. The portfolio trackers with in the wealth manager system give details of all UK shares and funds the customer has invested in.
Planning tools help customers identify where their personal finances would benefit from a review, and can create an impartial action plan for the customers' finances.
By allowing the customer to keep track of their finances in one place, Norwich Union believes this will provide information to the customer needed to spot opportunities to expand their wealth.
Norwich Union is the UK's largest insurance group and has the backing of over £200 billion of assets under management.
