Friends Ivory & Sime has announced the new sales team will be headed up by Michael Lynch as director of intermediary sales in the post-merger revamp, accompanied by John Yule as director of strategic distribution.
Merger of Royal & SunAlliance and Friends, Ivory & Sime on July 1 has meant a certain amount of nailbiting for both teams, as only the "best of breed" from each company were being selected to stay on with the new company.
This round of appointments comes just a month after the retail fund managers were restructured, but again takes a mixture of staff from FIS and R&SA, as Lynch was previously R&SA while Yule was FIS.
Lynch's team will service the intermediary sector while Yule's team will look after third party distributors.
