Compliance officer conference

Henry Stewart is to hold a one-day conference on the role of the compliance officer. The conference, to be held at Jurys Hotel in London on 17 July, will be chaired by the FSA's industry training development manager, Sheena Gray. The topics covered in the conference include the role of compliance personnel, the compliance officer as training officer, advising the board on individual accountability issues, the law and what constitutes best practice.
