Eurolife Assurance Company has appointed Nick Greenwood as managing director and chairman following David Wootton's resignation from the role last month. Greenwood was previously a director at Windsor Life. Wootton resigned as part of a compromise with the FSA, which had been investigating the group's ability to match its liabilities and its usage of investor's money since 1999. As part of the deal, Wootton agreed not to hold an executive position in the financial services industry for life.
