UK stocks rose this morning paced by giants such as Rentokil, the world's largest pest-control company, and BHB Billiton, which is the world's biggest miner. The benchmark FTSE 100 is currently up 12.90 points to 4,219.30. Rentokil jumped 8.75p to 208.25p after it announced that first-half profit rose. BHP Billiton climbed 3.25p after the company said it made a sixfold gain in fourth-quarter profit.
