Standard Life appoints non-exec directors

Standard Life today announced the appointments of Norman Blackwell and Gerry Grimstone as non-executive directors to their board. Blackwell, who is a special advisor to KPMG Corporate Finance and chairman of the Centre for Policy Studies, holds a number of non-executive positions. He is also an active member of the House of Lords. Grimstone, previously working for Schroders, also holds a number of non-executive positions including Dairy Crest Group and Candover Investments.
