IFA support network DBS launches its Training & Competence roadshow campaign of 2002 this week entitled 'Changes'.
The campaign aims to highlight developments in the 'at retirement and beyond' marketplace.
'Changes' will run for three months and is the first in three campaigns planned for the next year, only DBS members may attend. A Training & Competence roadshow, two technical seminars, provider workshops and computer based learning make up the content.
The programme for this first round campaign covers a holistic approach to retirement planning and incorporates retirement planning areas such as drawing income from retirement funds, releasing capital from property, and other non-pension solutions such as investment portfolio planning and offshore investments.
The roadshow will be hosted at 20 venues across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The programme is supported by Standard Life, Scottish Equitable, Zurich IFA Group and Clerical Medical International.
Two technical seminars, with different content follow the roadshows and take place in 27 locations across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The technical seminars are designed to expand and develop the topics covered in the roadshow.
Dates and venues can be found at www.assureweb.co.uk in the 'DBS members area' in the 'events room'.
