LV= enters retail space with dozen fund offer

LV= Asset Management (LVAM) has made its play into the retail market after unveiling details of the first of 12 new funds to be made available to investors.

The firm’s initial offering, the LV= UK Property fund, is an open-ended investment company offering exposure to UK commercial property primarily through direct investment. It will be run by Howard Meaney, a chartered surveyor who joined the firm earlier this month to manage its existing £800m property portfolio. Meaney has extensive experience running institutional property portfolios, having previously worked at property consultants, Cushman & Wakefield.
