Trevor Matthews has been elected as the new president of the CII group for the 2008-2009 Institute year.
Matthews, who is set to join Friends Provident as chief executive officer this month, will be joined by Barry Smith who will act as deputy president. Chris Hanks, Julian James, Ken Wallace, Richard Anderson and Sian Fisher will act as vice presidents on council, whilst Peter Hubbard and Branko Bjelobaba will act as vice presidents.
