Bank deposits in Jersey increased by 6.6% to £211.7bn and funds under administration by 8.2% to £210.4bn in the quarter ended June 2007.
The increase in bank deposits represented an increase of £28bn (15.3%) during the last 12 months. Since June 2006, the net asset value of funds (NAV) under administration has risen by £50.7 million (31.8%). In addition, the number of Expert Funds increased by 19 (6.3%) and the NAV of Expert Funds grew by £4.1 billion (12.1%) during the quarter. During the last 12 months the number of Expert Funds grew by 105 to 319 (49.1%) and the NAV increased by £16.6bn (76.6%) to £38.3bn.
