Bank of Scotland International has increased the interest rate on its Halifax International Guaranteed Reserve Account.
The Halifax International guaranteed reserve account has a minimum opening balance of £10,000 and a maximum investment balance of £1m. The account has a tiered interest rate structure, which is fixed across a six month, one year, two year or three year term. The rate for the six month term ranges from 5.8%-5.95% gross pa, while the rate for the one, two and three year terms ranges from 6.22%-6.27% monthly gross pa. Interest is paid monthly or upon the annual anniversary of the one, two and three year term account. For the six month term, interest is paid on maturity.
