Some 98% of marketing material intermediaries received from fund management groups is of no help in selling to clients, according to a report by Market Watch on marketing communications in the run up to the Isa season, from 1 November 2002 to 30 April 2003. It revealed only six of the 53 fund groups analysed produced documents specifically targeted at intermediary sales efforts.
