Almost 40% of young Brits have not started saving for retirement and nearly 20% have no current plans to start putting money aside, according to Lloyds TSB's report 'Savings in Britain'. Conducted by interviewing 2,000 people aged 18 to 34, the survey shows that nearly every second young Brit has not commenced saving for the future, despite the fact that almost half those surveyed believe that saving for a pension should start in one's 20s.
