The Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust has continued with its near-zero gearing throughout the 12 months to 30 September, its unaudited results show. Chairman Douglas McDougal said an ordinary dividend of 1.7p per share remained unchanged on the same period last year. Earlier, a special ordinary dividend of 3p had been paid to shareholders.
