John Tiner will take up the newly-created post of chief executive at the FSA in September, when Howard Davies steps down as head of the Financial Services Authority. Working alongside Callum McCarthy, who is currently chairman of the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority but then takes over from Davies as chairman, Tiner will begin work on September 22nd.
