The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries, AMI, has hit the 2,000 member mark some three months into its existence, according to a statement from the association. Set up to promote the interest of mortgage intermediaries as they come under FSA regulation, AMI's director Chris Cummings says that the number of new members is a positive indication of the need for an industry body.
