Jupiter increase its offshore presence

Jupiter aims to build up its sales in the Channel Islands, Middle East, Asia and South Africa with the arrival of Kevin Scott from Old Mutual.

Scott, who takes up the role of offshore executive director, had spent 10 years at Old Mutual with a variety of sales and marketing roles. Tristan Hillgarth , group business development director at Jupiter Asset Management, said: “Jupiter intends to be a major player in offshore markets and Scott’s experience will give us a tremendous advantage in building sales in these strategically important areas.” Prior to joining Old Mutual, Scott spent seven years at NatWest Bank. Among the markets he has worked in are Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Dubai, South Africa and the Channel Isles.
