The Swiss Bankers Association has attacked the European Union on its failure to produce guidelines the EU Savings Tax Directive. In an article in this month's International Investment, the association said: "Switzerland is surely justified in asking how authorities will implement the directive on 1 July if they cannot manage to issue guidelines before that date."
