Standard Life International is giving advisers the chance to win a trip to Dublin including flights and accommodation for two. The competition details are available at adviserzone.com. Entrants will have to be quick, as the closing date for entries is 5pm on Monday 3 March.
The competition marks a strong year of sales for the International Bond offered by Standard Life International in Dublin, which has seen £284m of sales in 2007. The bond was launched in 2006 but expanded in February 2007 to offer portfolio bond functionality, with access to 48 insured funds, over 800 mutual funds, seven discretionary fund managers, 32 deposit accounts from nine providers, and the option to purchase funds from the whole of the market.
Commenting on the success of the first year, Michael Leahy, director of Standard Life International, said: "I am delighted that the International Bond has proved so popular. Offshore investment is fast becoming an integral part of normal investment and tax planning. Our International Bond offers tax efficiency, wide investment choice and high-quality service from our dedicated team of offshore specialists in Dublin."
