Merchant House Group has launched a dedicated sales unit to increase awareness of its structured products proposition among IFAs.
Merchant Capital Investment Services will promote products developed by MHG subsidiary Merchant Capital (MCL), which last year acquired Keydata's structured product book.
MHG said sales of structured products in Q1 reached their highest level since it began trading in December 2009, with January's sales alone exceeding the total generated in Q4 of 2010.
Meanwhile, the private client division of MHG has recruited Tony King as director of operations. King was previously head of new business and development at St James's Place Wealth Management.
