Services provider threesixty has launched a new web-based application for smartphones to support IFAs.
The tool, called ‘threesixty mobile', provides members with videos, regular new updates, analysis and relevant documents.
Compatible with iPhone, BlackBerry and Android handsets, the application aims to provide advisers with information while they are on the go.
David Ingram, technical director at threesixty, says: "IFAs often don't get the chance to catch up with compliance updates or read briefing documents until they are actually out of their offices.
"This service means IFAs can access our resources using their mobile phones when they are on the move or even when meeting clients. It is easier than ever before for them to access high quality information.
"More IFAs do seem to be using their mobiles to access information too - Asset TV told us that one in 10 accesses to their videos are made via mobile phones."
Smartphone applications have become an increasingly popular way for IFAs to stay informed and enhance their own offerings.
Unbiased recently launched a new applications that enables users to find an IFA in their area.
