Zurich is launching a series of online tools designed to help advisers deal with an expected 60% increase in the retirement market over the next five years.
Advisers can access downloadable technical information on pensions issues as well as animated case studies depicting typical customer concerns which can be used with clients.
Zurich pensions management director Dave Lowe says: "Many people will not have the retirement income they might have expected.
"These individuals need professional financial advice to help them make the most of what they do have and possibly to consider alternatives to taking benefits now.
"We aim to help advisers address this issue by highlighting key considerations for advisers and their clients while ensuring that we continue to recognise the pivotal, personal role played by an adviser in the retirement process."
Zurich's latest online offering adds to its previous 'Reviewing Pensions Fairly' support provided earlier this year.
A suite of learning materials for advisers studying for the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) financial planning qualification JO5 will also feature on the site.
Zurich's modelling tool Zurich Portfolio Planner (ZPP), which enables financial advisers to build and manage investment and pension portfolios for their clients, will also be made available on the new site.
