Scottish Equitable's pensions experts are hitting the road again with a series of 16 pensions roadshows, to help IFAs prepare for pending pension reform.
Seminars, which will be free of charge to financial advisers, aim to bring intermediaries up-to-date with the changes facing the world of pensions and give them pointers on what action they should be taken now.
Scot Equitable's pension development director Stewart Ritchie and pensions development manager Rachel Vahey will be hosting the shows, which will be held across the UK between 26 April and 11 June.
Ritchie says: "The surprise delay of A-day to 2006 may appear to give us all some breathing space but in reality the timescale for advice is still tight.
In the last few months we have had confirmation that the simplified pension tax regime will go ahead and a working brief on what it will look like. We've also had a Pensions Bill with all the changes that will bring," he adds.
