L&G rolls out mortgage quote service

Legal & General has rolled its general insurance quote and apply service GIology to 5,000 mortgage advisers.

The new point of sale system provides indicative quotes on buildings and contents cover, buy-to-let and mortgage payment protection insurance (MPPI), online and offline. Advisers using the system can find quotes after answering two questions and without retyping data for further searches. GIology also provides the option under MPPI for separate accident and sickness or unemployment cover and cover for carers.
