Collins Stewart has launched a stand alone fund management operation and rebranded its Wealth Management business.
The move comes in a bid by the group to give a stronger identity to these areas of the business which have been hidden behind the group’s stock broking and Aim fund raising activities.
Collins Stewart Fund Management will offer both multi-manager and specialist funds.
The group has 10 multi-manager funds run by a 20-strong team with a bias towards absolute total return and a team investment approach to its Specialist range.
Commenting on the launch and rebrand, Neil Darke, head of Collins Stewart Wealth Management and Collins Stewart Fund Management says: “The creation of a separate identity for Collins Stewart Fund Management is a significant step for us. For too long, we have hidden some excellent funds’ stories. We believe now it is time we invested in this business.
“The investment in the rebranding of the Collins Stewart Wealth Management illustrates our commitment to growing our wealth management business. “The rebranding is the first step on our journey to raise awareness of these businesses.”
