Collins Stewart launches separate fund business

Collins Stewart has launched a stand alone fund management operation and rebranded its Wealth Management business.

The move comes in a bid by the group to give a stronger identity to these areas of the business which have been hidden behind the group’s stock broking and Aim fund raising activities. Collins Stewart Fund Management will offer both multi-manager and specialist funds. The group has 10 multi-manager funds run by a 20-strong team with a bias towards absolute total return and a team investment approach to its Specialist range.
