Standard Life has added the PSigma Income fund to its mutual funds platform, FundZone.
The £230m PSigma Income fund, managed by Bill Mott, launched in April. The fund has an overweight position in financials and recently raised its weighting in banks from 22% to 25% as Mott says the sector has “outstanding long-term value”. It also has 10% in insurance stocks, mainly life companies.
Mott founded PSigma Asset Management in February after 30 years at Credit Suisse.
Standard Life launched FundZone in February to help advisers manage their clients’ funds easily.
