Winning awards deserve to be celebrated in style, and Yorkshire Building Society have picked a unique way to do so.
A new advertising campaign by YBS, and designed in-house by the company’s graphic design team, has been rolled out across the country inspired by old-fashioned cheeky postcards.
As Britain enjoys one of its hottest summers in years, YBS has supplied branches with a series of posters featuring slogans such as: “Ooh Sharon, that’s a big one!” and “What a smashing pair!”.
To celebrate winning an award as “lender of the year” for the second year in a row, the campaign also includes providing cut-outs and disposable cameras so customers who want to have a laugh can have their pictures taken.
Ian Bullock, general manager sales and marketing at YBS, says: “We have a track record of producing eye-catching window displays and the current campaign focuses on both our wins – ‘What a smashing pair!’ and the high savings rate on our fixed rate Isa – ‘Ooh Sharon that’s a big one!’”
