A delegation from Jersey will visit Birmingham next month to showcase the region's finance industry.
The seminar, ‘Offshore Trusts and Private Clients for the 21st Century’, is the first Jersey hosted event to take place outside London.
Jersey Finance, the representative arm of the Jersey finance industry, has organised the seminar; with speakers from PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG addressing the crowd.
It will also sponsor the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners conference in Edinburgh the same week.
Jersey Finance chief executive Geoff Cook says the region is already doing business with professionals and advisers around the UK.
“It will be an opportunity to highlight our services to other professionals in the region who may not be so familiar with the range of private client services provided from Jersey, and we will also use the occasion to dispel some of the myths about Jersey as a jurisdiction,” he says.
