Credit Suisse has appointed David Norman to the newly created role of CEO of asset management for the UK and Ireland, bolstering the company's regional management team.
Norman will be responsible for the development of the asset management business in the UK and Ireland and will lead the management of retail and institutional client relationships, sales, product development and marketing.
He will report to JC Perrig, head of EMEA for Credit Suisse’s asset management business.
Perrig says the company continues to build on strong business momentum in the UK and Ireland.
“Despite turbulent markets, we have made significant progress in the UK recently with all our UK Equity Income products being top quartile, our Multi-Manager team launching two popular new Multi-Asset funds over 12 months and new UK Fixed Income and UK Property teams now firmly established.”
Norman was previously director of marketing and products at Morley Fund Management, having formerly worked in e-marketing and commerce roles at Threadneedle Asset Management as well as being the architect behind the ISIS and Insight Investment brands.IFAonline
