RealAdviser's annual forum and awards at the Haberdashers' Hall in London on 20 October 2005 aims to give advisers practical ways to deal with an increasingly difficult investing and regulatory environment
The pressures facing the modern financial adviser are well documented. But there is an increasing range of services that can help advisers build a more profitable and successful business.
The RealAdviser forum will showcase the outsourcing possibilities available to advisers from investment groups, life offices and other service providers.
The morning session will show advisers the practical benefits of outsourcing investments and how to choose the right partner. Our keynote speaker will show how to select an outsourced solution and the difference it can make to an adviser business. Our sponsors will cover topics on:
• selecting an outsourced investment solution;
• multi-manager as a business solution;
• wealth preservation - A true partnership;
• portfolio construction;
• multi-asset class portfolios; and
• the future of the multi-manager industry.
The afternoon session will look at the fund links market. Our keynote speaker will look at the future for life offices and the challenges they face in the new age of financial advice. Our sponsors will cover topics on:
• asset allocation and risk modelling tools;
• product development;
• how companies select external fund management groups; and
The afternoon will also see the presentation of this year's RealAdviser awards. This year RealAdviser will have 16 awards. The first eight reward excellence in multi-manager provision.
This includes a research award, which surveys every IMA-registered fund management group to produce an industry-wide standard for investment excellence among multi-managers.
The remaining eight awards are the only ones of their kind, rewarding wrappers such as fund supermarkets and other platforms, along with life offices for fund links, plus client servicing and reporting. These are voted for by a panel of our readers.
The RealAdviser forum and awards will be held on Thursday 20 October, Haberdashers' Hall, 18 West Smithfield, London EC1A 9HQ.
