Aberdeen Asset Management's interim results for six months to 31 March 2002 show net new business of £552m, almost matched by split capital trust debt repayments and buy backs of £530m. The group's turnover was up 17.4% and pre-tax profit was up 9.9%. Assets under management are up to £36bn from £34.7bn in September 2001.
