Artemis has decided to suspend dealing in its funds today.
The company explained its stance on the current situation: "As a result of the effect on the equity markets of the current crisis in the US we do not believe that we will be able to obtain reliable securities prices for the purpose of valuing our funds.
We have taken this decision after consultation with the trustee of the funds, RBS, the association of unit trust companies, AUTIF, and our administrator. We believe that many other management companies are coming to the same decision."
